By creating an account or using Word of Dish, you agree to these terms.

The service

Word of Dish is a feedback and review platform for restaurants: it collects diner feedback, drafts reviews from the diner's own words, routes unhappy guests to a private recovery channel, and provides analytics.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use — honesty required

• You may not use the service to fabricate reviews, incentivize only positive reviews, or gate access to Google based on sentiment. The public review link is always available to every guest by design, and you agree not to circumvent that.
• You may not misuse the service to harass, spam, or violate the rights of others.
• You are responsible for complying with the review, advertising, and privacy laws that apply to your business.

Billing

• Usage is metered in credits — one credit covers one Check. Plans include a monthly allotment; top-up packs add credits that roll over and expire 12 months after purchase.
• Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, which handles applicable taxes. Prices are shown exclusive of tax unless stated.
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active through the paid period.

Your content

You retain ownership of your content (menus, questions, and the feedback your guests submit). You grant us the license needed to host and process it to operate the service. Captured diner submissions are immutable and cannot be edited or selectively deleted, which is central to the integrity of the product. The only exception is where deletion or anonymization is required to meet a legal obligation or a valid data-subject request, in which case we may dissociate a submission from a diner's identity without altering the underlying feedback record.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree that the courts located at the provider's principal place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Questions: hello@wordofdish.com.
