About Word of Dish

Word of Dish is review software built specifically for restaurants. A guest scans the Check at the table, rates their dishes and answers a few questions by voice or text in their own language, and — if they're happy — gets an AI-drafted Google review written from their own words to edit and post from their own account. If they're unhappy, they're routed to a private recovery path that alerts the owner first.

Why we built it

Great restaurants lose to noisier ones online because happy guests rarely leave reviews and the unhappy few do. Most tools "fix" this by gating — only nudging happy guests toward Google — which is against Google's policy and increasingly illegal (FTC in the US, the EU, and the UAE's DMCC). We took the opposite bet: help every guest leave an honest review in their own words, and win on volume and authenticity instead of manipulation.

What we believe

• Honesty is the moat. Every diner can always reach Google, regardless of sentiment. We never hide the review link, fabricate a word, or post on anyone's behalf.
• Their own words. Drafts are built only from what the guest actually said — specific, real, and theirs to edit.
• Every language. 20+ languages including Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi with full right-to-left. Menus and questions are auto-translated for free.
• Owners hear problems first. Unhappy guests reach a private channel, not a public one-star.
